Sandough started with a question: what if your favorite pizza dough became the bread for the ultimate sandwich? We wanted to make something new, bold, and easy to share. From that idea, our pizza sandwiches were born, and our shop on Melrose became a place for locals and visitors alike.
Our Concept
At Sandough, we fold classic Italian ingredients like prosciutto, burrata, mortadella, and wild arugula into baked pizza dough. The result is a meal that is not quite a sandwich and not just a pizza but something better — the pizza sandwich. Each creation is hand-crafted, baked fresh, and full of warm, bold flavors.
Our Dough Philosophy
Every bite starts with slow-fermented, 48-hour dough. It is naturally leavened for texture and depth, crisp on the outside and soft within.
